David joined Parker Barras as a partner in 2009, taking up the lead role in acquisitions having worked in the property business since the 1970s. He has worked extensively with Housing Associations and was a Board Member of a large Housing Association for 21 years whilst continuing his Estate Agency practice dealing with all manner of residential and commercial property throughout the Cleveland and Teesside area.

What inspired you to pursue a commercial property and business agency career, and how did you get started in this field?
Started in property in 1973 following a period in finance. Always enjoyed it and never known anything else.

What do you like to do outside of work to unwind and recharge, and how do you balance your personal and professional life?
Enjoy DIY, shooting, time spent in Menorca and (hard to believe) car cleaning/maintenance.
