Sarah Smith


Sarah joined Parker Barras in 2016 and is Financial Controller, handling the day to day accounting functions of Parker Barras and properties / developments under management. She supports the company’s external accountants and auditors and handles incoming and outgoing invoicing and budgetary control whilst continuing her studies toward further finance qualifications.


What inspired you to pursue a commercial property and business agency career, and how did you get started in this field?

I fell into this industry after working in retail and hospitality for numerous years. I really enjoy helping people and achieving the best possible outcome for each individual.

What do you enjoy most about working at Parker Barras, and what sets the company apart from other firms in the industry?

I enjoy working at Parker Barras as it has a friendly environment with a wide diversity of skills, enabling us to all help and support each other. I think what sets the company aside is the unique building, the vast advertising and marketing and the modern proactive approach.

What do you like to do outside of work to unwind and recharge, and how do you balance your personal and professional life?

Outside work, I spend time with my children, family and friends, whether going out for day trips, meals, retail therapy, or crafty bits. I balance my personal and professional life by having cut-off points and personal rules.
