Tiegan joined as an associate in 2021, following 5 years gaining experience in the insurance industry having worked for a large international firm of insurance brokers. She supports some of the Company’s finance functions and deals with our own and our Client’s insurance needs as well as assisting with management of properties.

What inspired you to pursue a commercial property and business agency career, and how did you get started in this field?
After working in the insurance industry for a number of years, an opportunity become available to work within the family business. With my knowledge of the insurance industry and working on commercial property claims particularly, I felt that the new opportunity was fitting.
What do you enjoy most about working at Parker Barras, and what sets the company apart from other firms in the industry?
I love working with the family, it’s a great opportunity that not many people get! I also really enjoy being part as a team but working as an individual. We charge absolutely no upfront fees and we offer a very modern approach which sets us apart from the rest.
What do you like to do outside of work to unwind and recharge, and how do you balance your personal and professional life?
Outside of work I spend most of my time with my partner and 5-year-old son, having recently moved house, we spend a lot of our weekends decorating and renovating! I do enjoy socialising with friends and tend to find myself being the event organiser of the group looking for things to do/places to go. I try to keep work/home life separate by being organised but sometimes, when necessary, I will switch on the laptop when Theo has gone to bed.
